TAWA volunteers hosted Children’s Medical Center representatives at lunch. Turkish American Women Association made a donation to the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders on April 15, 2009. Money was raised by selling foods prepared by TAWA’s volunteers at the Turkish Food Sale event at the Southern Methodist University In November, 2008.
