The Second Annual Friendship and Dialog Dinner was held on September 16, 2010 at the Turquoise Center by Turkish American Women Association in collaboration with Institute of Interfaith Dialog. 80 people participated in the event.

TAWA volunteer Nevin Gezgin talked about the past achivements of TAWA and mentioned about some future projects. Elizabeth G. Thornburg, Professor of Law at Southern Methodist University, gave a brief historical overview of fears arised in society toward the people from different backgrounds and cultures. Her solution to overcome these anxieties was threefold: Education, having conversation with one another and working for a common good. Becky Miller, former Carrollton Mayor, shared her loveful Turkey trip memories.
